At this stage Bufton will let you
loose with sponge-tipped brushes
to actually paint the cold water
dyes: on to the material. Bufton
says the sponges hold-2 lot of dye,
soaking through the material. The
material that doesn’t absorb the
paint will turn out white.

The T-shirt is then bundled inte
a closed plastic bag to sit over-
night. The following morning Buf-
ton washes and rinses the T-shirt at
which point the T-shirt is pro-
claimed color-fast.

to date has been a tie-dying session
