AN UNIDENTIFIED
41-year-old North Vancouver
woman has been charged
with leaving a parking spot
when it was not safe to do so

after a spectacular car-
motorcycle collision
Wednesday.

The woman’s car, which
was leaving a parking spot in
the 1400 block of St.
George’s Avenue was struck
by a motorcycle driven by a
21-year-old North Vancouver
man.

The cychst was thrown off
the bike, which exploded into
flames, but was not injured.

Police and fire crews were
on the scene quickly — the ac-
cident took place just outside
both RCMP and North Van
City fire headquarters.
