stamps through depictions of
their works.

The Grove stamp is from a
wood engraving by
Rosemary Kilbourne and
pictures a solitary

-ploughman behind two
horses, a scene from his
novel ‘Fruits of the Earth’.

The Nelligan stamp, a
golden ship on a stormy sea
_with a profile of the face of
the author, illustrates his
most famous poem ‘Le
vaisseau d'or’. Monique
Charbonneau prepared the
woodcut illustration for the
stamp design.
