Twelve members of the North Shore Rescue squad assisted North Vancouver RCMP in retrieving the body of an unidentified man in his 30s. The partially clad body was spotted by nwo hikers walking their dog along the Cedar Mill trail in Lynn Headwaters Park. The bady was partially sub- merged about 300 metres away from the trail, about three kilometres north of the park's entrance. Although police were ini- tially summoned to the site at about 4:30 p.m,, the body was not removed until 10:30 p.m. thar evening. North Van RCMP have nor identified the man beyond establishing his approximate age.
