On Monday, North Vancouver City council voted to inform stakeholders that the city is ready to consider an Official Community Plan amendment and rezoning application based substantially upon the Versatile Shipyard Land Use Study. The Versatile Shipyard lands are owned by 366466 B.C. Ltd. The parent compa- ny of the numbered tirm is in receivership. Coopers & Lybrand is the acting receiver. The shipyard site owner proposes a land swap with the Vancouver Port Corporation to acquire part of the port corporation’s water lot to allow for the water uses pro- posed in the study.
