Drummer’s son gets
backbeat of support

LOCAL musicians are coming, together next
Sunday, Sept. 29, for a night of benefit perfor-
mances in support of five-year-old Lucas
MacKenzie Rupert- Brown and his family.

The youngster, the son of North Vancouver drummer Jim
Brown and mother Sharen Brown, has been diagnosed with
rhabdomyosarcoma (cancer).

Jack Lonsdale’s Pub at 127-1433 Lonsdale Avenue in North
Vancouver hosts Shawn Carle, Megan Metealte, Robbie
Steininger, John Bye, Oliver and the Elements, Jaleen
Stonehouse, Steve Soucy, the Jammin’ Buddhas, Andreas
