and parents can purchase used
hockey equipment at the annual
equipment exchange. Players
wishing to sell equipment must
have it delivered, tagged and pric-
ed on Aug. 16 between 6 and 9
p.m.

Walk/Run for Leukemia is a
fundraiser for the Red Cross
Unrelated Bone Marrow Registry.
The 9.5-kilometre run and 4-
kilometre walk will take place on
the trails at Cypress Bowl. Regis-
tration available at most sports
stores, including Superstar outlets,
the Red Cross on Oak Street, and
at most Lower Mainiand com-
munity centres. Entry fee is $22.

Multiple Sclerosis Bike Tour of-

eighth annual fun run around
Stanley Park. The [@-km run or

for its second year at the Chateau
Whistler Resort. The third largest
men’s pro tennis tourney in
Canada, prize money totals
