The Circle Craft Christmas Market, a five-day fair
featuring the work of 150 craftspeople from across
Canada, is now into its 17th year, and this year the
market will once again be filled to the brim with its
usual variety of wood, clay, fibre and glass, toys,
jewelry, clothing, art and collectibles.

It gets under way tomorrow at the Vancouver
Trade and Convention Centre and lasts for five days.

Once again, a number of North Shore artisans are
taking part. They include Deep Cove jeweler Richard
De La Mare, West Vancouver weaver Sylvia Hogan,

West Vancouver potter Virginia Parkhurst, Deep
Cove kids clothing designer Lestey Richardson and
North Vancouver jeweler Svea Vatch.

Included with the price of admission is a wearable
art fashion show, Imagination Market Workshops: a

curated gallery section with such craftspeople are,

Hiro Urakami, Barbara Head. Robert Held and Jan
McLeod; live entertainment and various demonstra-
tions,

Hours are: Thurs. and Fri., 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.;
Sat., Sun. and Mon.: !1 a.m. to 7 p.m., to Nov. 12.
