Municipal engineer named

WEST VANCOUVER District
municipal manager Terry Lester
recently announced the appoint-
ment of Berry Lambert as the
municipality’s new municipal
engineer and director of opera-
tions.

The appointment becomes effec-
tive Sept. 14.

Lambert {eaves an eight-year
posting as deputy municipal
engineer with the District of
Chilliwack to come to West Van-
couver.

Prior to working in Chilliwack,
Lambert served with the provincial
government’s Water Rights
Branch.

Before the provincial posting,
Lambert worked with the Thames
Conservancy in England, where his
major responsibilities included
flood control and storm drainage
works.
