Raymer, originally from
Germany, started later in fife
on her road to being an ar-
list, giving up her job as a
cost accountant. Since then
she has studied intensively at
the Vancouver Schoo! of
Art, Douglas College, Emily
Carr School of Art and
Design and Capilano Col-
lege, besides private courses

makers.

Already she has had 13
one-woman shows and has
been in group shows at the
Federation of Canadian Ar-
tists, Helen Pitt Gallery, and
Burnaby Arts Centre, and
was represented at the B.C.
Festival of the Arts.

Her works are in the per-
manent collections of the ar-
chives of the Surnaby Art
Gallery; the Judah Magnes

Friedland Gallery, Toronto,
besides being in private col-
lections in B.C. Toronto,
New York and Scotland.

The show, sponsored by
the North Vancouver Com-
munity Arts Council, hangs
in the North Vancouver
District Municipal Hall, 355
