inquired about monthly
rates for Beachcomber
Island, prompted by
one’ of my _ recent
columns.

I doubt if Beachcomber
gets into monthly discounts
for several reasons. First,
their prices are so low that I
can't | see how they could
afford to drop them any
lower.

_Second, Beach-

that most visitors are content
with a one-week stay but
after that start to get island
fever (closely related to
claustrophobia).

Another standout for a
Fijiian holidayer is the Blue
Lagoon Cruise.’ Any travel
agent can book one of these
for you and you will be quite
pleased with the price as
compared to other luxury
cruises.

Fiji is made up of hun-
dreds of islands and the only
way to see any of the smaller
ones is by boat. The Blue
