council that she believes the
Horseshoe Bay Community
Hall has outlived — its
usefulness.

The hall “gets very little
use as a community center as
the center of the community
is now Gleneagles Com-
munity School,” she said.

“When the hall was built
some 35 years ago, it was
built with volunteer labour
and the moncy for materials
was raised by raffles,
donations, etc...”

Now that there aro high-
speed roads and television,
people don’t need the hall
for community life anymore,
she said.
