QUESTION: I don't know
whether I can word my ques-
tion so you'll print it or not.
But here goes. ['m 17 and I
have a very dumb 18 year old
sister. I like her mind you,
and I've got to admit she’s a
“10,” or close to it, but it’s a
gross space to be in when
you hear your own friends
sort of joking about her be-
ing an easy lay.

Being her brother and
around her a lot may make it
seem worse to me, but all
she seems to think about is
sex. She wears very sexy
clothes, even to school, and
talks sexy and is always pick-
ing up on almost anything
that is said and putting a sexy
meaning to it either by what
she says or the way she uses
her gestures.

1 wish me and her weren't
brother and sister at times. |
have two feelings about it all
both at the same time. I'm

proud of her for being such a
knockout, but I'm awfully
embarrassed when the guys
start talking about her. I
want to defend her and tell
these guys she’s not like that,
but they'd just laugh because
she IS like that. What can I
do? How can I get her to
take it easy? Or should | just
forget her and act like she
isn't my sister? I've
wondered whether I ought to
give her a darn good spank-
ing! Have you got something
to say on the subject?

are better ways for you to go
other than pretending she’s
not your sister and/or giving
her “a darn good spanking.”
She ought to know that you
are proud of her for being
“such a knockout,” and also
she ought to hear from you,
anything else about her that
you are proud of or respect.
We all need the support and

approval of others. But she
also might be supported by
you if she were told by you
about how difficult you find
it to have her spoken of
cheaply. Tell her you want
to defend her, but that you
find it difficult to do, in view
of what the guys say.

Will you keep in mind too
that she may not be near as
active, sexually, as the guys
say’? More often than not, a
repulation gets choreo-
graphed by one fellow talk-
ing big and then others talk-
ing bigger. If that is even
partially true in her case,
remember she needs so-
meone who will back her
and stick by her.

lf she is, in fact, as
blatantly promiscuous as the
guys say, keep in mind she is
in great need of something
and, of course, it ain't sex.
Perhaps you can help give
her what she really needs.
