Employees won’ t back faculty

CAPILANO College faculty
who are ready to strike over
their contract demands and
who may have been counting
on the support of other
unionized employees can
forget it.

At a_ special meeting
Monday, Capilano College
Employees Union, AUCE
local No. 4 members decided
their involvement would be
confined to honoring picket
lines.

A news release from the
employees states it was
decided “that there were
many philosophical  dif-
ferences between its
members and those of the
faculty association regarding
the proposed management
structure, 1s im -
plementation and the

Initially, the CCFA was
