During the kidnapping, Rezaci held a 9-mm semi-automatic handgun to the head of 18-year-old Randy Chan. Chan is the younger brother of Lotus gang mem- ber, Raymond Chan. Rezaci, who was a member of the loose-knitted Persian. Pride gang from North Vancouver, would pretend to shoot Randy Chan in the head. He would let the bullet tall out of the gun and to the ground. Afterwards the kidnap victim was told, “Your dead. I’m gong to cut vour fingers off. Your brother didn’t show.” Randy Chan was not seriously injured. He was held for two days and released fol- iowing negotiations with a lawyer.
