Artist’s canvas turns to ciothes

Gyotaku clothing called Algae
Fish Wear. Gyotaku is the ancient
Japanese art of fish printing and
rubbing.

Pardoe’s firm is a home-based
business specializing in custom-
designed clothing and _ textiles
which are available at specialty
shops on the North Shore.

Her Gyotaku clothing and tex-
tiles will also be featured during a
Wearable Art and Textiles Exhibit
at Gastown’s, 2620 Sasamat,
Vancouver, B.C. for the month of
