Odeon Theatre. into a centre
for the performing arts to West
Vancouver council on Feb.24.

a drive to save the Odeon
theatre since last summer. The
owner, who was asking
roughly $4 million for the land
and building, has formally ap-
plied to build a new financial
centre on the site.

At its Jan. 27 meeting,
council referred the matter to
its land use development com-
mittee, but has yet to receive a
Tesponse.
