NFL lands in Vancouver

IN some ways it was the razz-a-matazz, not the
football game that captured Vancouver’s attention
last Saturday. The so-called American Bowl at
B.C. Place featured three teams of cheerleaders,
the Backstreet Boys, a 10-minute running batile
in tie stands and a blimp that crash-landed on
the crowd. Oh yes, the 49ers beat the Seahawks.
