Neumann scored on runs of 20, 30 and 42 yards as well as a 40 yard punt return in the ‘shooting down of the Bombers. Esks. downed Spartons 19- O in another minor game behind the touchdowns of Craig Keen, David Shera and John Warford. Mark Robinson picked up a pair of touchdowns as did teammate Blair McInnes as Falcons ran over Steelers 35- 6 in Junior Bantam action. Both boys picked up more than 100 yards rushing. The other touchdown came on a three yard pass’ from quarterback Marty Rattee to Grahm Whyte. Rattec, who was only playing his second game at the helm ever, also picked up a pair of converts. Mike Biddlecombe was. credited with a safety touch to complete the scoring. A pair of touchdowns by Darryl Weerrum led Colts to a 31-0 whitewash over Broncs. Both Weerum TD’s came on 15 yard runs. Chris Benjamin also picked up a pair on a 40 yard run, and a ‘50 yard pass and run from quarterback Dave Hen- derson. Chris Nikel ran a kickoff back 60 yards to set up one of Doug Laventures two touchdowns as Titans downed Chargers 32-6 in Junior Bantam play. Quarterback Ray Sussins also picked up two majors while fullback Brent Roche picked up the other touchdown. In flag ball action D.C. Raiders downed Rockets 21- 0 behind the three touch- downs of Trevor Mayes and Huskies edged Knights 6-0 in the closest game of the day. Action in the league resumes on Sunday at Norgate Park starting at noon.. The Argos knocked off West Side Warriors 18-7 in the only Bantam action of the day.
