A NEW service for consumers is now available from
the B.C. Dairy Foundation. The Milk Hotline is a
number which people can call for answers to their
nutrition questions about milk, calcium and other
dairy products. -

The Milk Hotline was established for the consumer
to obtain quick, accurate nutrition information on
dairs products. Calcium and osteoporosis queries are

expected to be a large part of the questions fielded on
the Milk Hotline, commented Gillian Ackhurst.

The Milk Hotline calls are answered by fully-
qualified nutritionists or home economists from 10:00
a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Greater Van-
couver residents call 294-MILK (6455).
