MOTHERS AGAINST Drunk
Drivers (MADD) has announced
its Safe Christmas Program in
coordination with North Pacific
Art of Chauffeuring Services.
Endorsed by Inspector Lucy and
the Vancouver Police Department,
and supported in principal by the
Traffic Safety Education Depart-
ment of ICBC, the Safe Christmas
Program will help provide a safe
holiday to many Lower Mainland
party-goers, while assisting MADD
in its fight against drunk drivers.
The program works as follows:
any company, club or organization
holding a Christmas or New Year’s
party is invited to call the North
Pacific Art of Chauffeuring at
685-6565. The Art of Chauffeuring

will provide, free of charge, a suit-.

able number of uniformed, trained
and qualified chauffeurs, for a
five- hour period, to drive safely
home any revellers requiring such a
service.

The host company or organizers
can supply their own vehicle or the
Art of Chauffeuring will rent suit-
able transportation in the com-
pany’s name.

in return, the Art of Chauffeur-
ing asks the party’s organizers to
make a generous, tax-deductible,
donation to MADD.

ing this holiday season, and I
would like to see the public make
use of this innovative transporta-
tion alternative on a year-round
