Laura Ann is the winner of a 12 speed, 24-inch Norco “Bush Pijot’* mountain bike. Laura Ann won the bike in a contest at the Horseshoe Bay Big Scoop. The contest is be- ing held for six months. Donald Martin's Whistler Snowmobile Services has received the first contract for maintenance and visitor ser- vices at Brandywine Falls Provincial Park. Martin, a North Van resident, runs the company with Robert Meilleur. Brandywine, located 15 km south of Whistler on Highway 99, features a waterfall, signs of recent volcanic activity, ac- cess to three lakes, hiking trails, 15 campsites and six picnic tables. Former NHL and WHA right winger Alec Tidy is scoring a hit with Tidy Lock and Key in West Van. Tidy took over Key & Lock Cen- tre at the first of June and says he loves being back in West Vancouver.
