DEF YING the seas, and all opposition was a crew of Vikings
(above) but unfortunately, lack of wind tumed out to be
more of a threat as is seen In the boat at right struggling with
light winds and a current. These conditions hampered all
boats’ progress. The first boat to complete the first leg of of

the race, from Dundarave to Pt. Atkinson, took almost three
hours.
