Missing men found by tear: TWO hikers were found cold, wet and suffering from mild hypothermia early Monday morning after being reported miss- ing five hours carlier near Lynn Headwaters Regional Park. The rwo Vancouver men, whose names were unavail- able, were found near the regional park. They had planned to hike to Grouse Mountain at the start of their 8 a.m. hike, but got into deep snow. The men planned to be Sack before dark. They were reported missing at 11 p.m. on Sunday, according to a North Shore Rescue Team *yokesman. Fifteen rescue team members searched for the pair at 11:30 p.m. and located them at 4:30 a.m. The two men hiked out safely with North Shore Rescue Team volunteers. —Anna Marie D’Angelo Thieving teen bullies caught AN 11-year-old boy was robbed cn March 2 while he was playing basketball alone in a ‘are behind the Salvation Army Church near the 1100-S'ork of Lonsdale Avenue. According to North Vancouver RCMP Const. Tom Seaman, two malic teens approached the boy at 6:30 p.m. and said they would beat bim up if he did not give them his shoes. Onc of the tcens punched : ihe boy several times in the face. The teenagers went through the boy’s puckets search- ing for money. They took his gym bag and ran off. The boy, whose name ws not released, called 9-1-1 from a nearby pizza store. Police quickly arrived and arrest- ed two teens, aged 15 and 14, in connection with the inci- dent. The boy’s property was recovered.
