couver will host a Canada Day
velebration at Ambleside Land-
ing at the foot of H4th Street

on July 1.
The celebration opens with a
fishing derby from 6:30 a.m. to

$2:30 p.m. Participants caa
register at McDonald's restau-
rant, 1455 Marine Dr., West
Vancouver.

The formal ceremony will
begin at 1:30) pam. when the
piper will lead the Color
Parade along Areyle Avenue.

Along with greetings frem
civic and provincial dignitaries,
there will be a medal pres-
entation by Cuapilano-Howe
Seund MP Mary Collins and
Rear Admiral Peter Cairns.
