tion, | suggest the head line
‘Seniors Thank Mayor”’
should have read ‘‘Senior
Thanks Mayor”’

The writer 1s entitled to ex-
pres her personal endorse-
ment of a candidate for the
Mayor’s office, but here
comments re our Seniors’ Ac-

tivity Centre are not factual.
| heartily agree that the
Leisure Living Programmes
operated under very difficult
conditions and would have
undoubtedly continued to do
so if the Original plans for ex-
pansion had been carried out
— namely, a small addition
to the existing Recreation
Centre Building.
Fortunately however,

the West Vancovuer
municipal election, regardless
of whom they supported, to
the people who worked so
hard or supported my cam-
paign — please accept my
heartfelt thanks

With regard to the Time
for a Change Committee,

they are to be congratulated
for creating so much interest
in the election that 43.5% of
the eligible voters went to the
polls. That is a major
breakthrough and | sincerely
hope they wall continue to
