canoe capsized in the

inlet .at Deep Coye.

Sunday were virtually
paralysed from the

’ waist down because of

the cold of the water by
the time they were
rescued by passing
boaters.

Jamies Zaste, aged 15, of
4679 Wickenden Road, in
Deep Cove, and his 14-year-
old cousin Alan Zaste,
toppled out of their canoe
when they both . happened to
stand up at the same time to
reach something and the
canoe tipped over.
