The fashion ma: azine- sponsored awards honour 1 Canadian women between the ages | of 18 and 49 who have made a significant con- tribution to the lives of peo- ple in their communities. Individuals, volunteer and philanthrepic organizations across Canada are encour- aged to submit nomirations. Deadline for applications is Feb. 28. The awards mark the 20th anniversary of Flare maga- zine. This is the third year for the volunteer awards pro- gram. This year the awards will be presented to five Canadian women. The five recipients will be invited to Toronto for an overnight stay some time next spring.
