Those hating everything French in Canada use the argument that the French language is shoved down their throats. To this i an- swer that at school we are forced into many subjects like chemistry, physics, etc., to prepare us for future life, because nobody knows who will need what special know!- edge 20 years from now. I was very glad that in my younger years I was induced to Jearn subjects, considered useless by many, that permitted me to work successfully on three conti- nents and in five languages.
