VOLUNTEERS ARE needed for the 1994 Harmony Arts Festival
which will run Aug. 8-14 in West Vancouver.

The event has five main elements: outdoor concerts in water-

- freant parks, an art auction, “Artbeat” (storefront windows filled
with North Shore artwork), “Creative Kids’ Day” in John Lawson
Paatk and a juried craft show.

Some of the volunteer positions include public relations, secu-
rity, «Ite crew, Creative Kids’ Day volunteers, ast auction volun-
teers and preparing Artbeat windows for display. Interested peo-
pte of all ages are encouraged to call and sign up and attend one
Of four training sessions at the Ferry Building Gallery at the foot

of 14th Street in West Vancouver. The times and dates are:
Wednesday, July 27, 10 a.m. or 7:30 p.m.; Wednesday, Aug. 3,
