Lions Gate Bridge receives refit THE DECK of the Lions Gate Bridge is being reinforced as part of an on-going program to ensure the structural integrity of the bridge. The announcement was made March 10 by Transportation and Highways Minister Jackic Pement and North Vancouver-Lonsdale MLA David Schreck. A $296,960 contract has been awarded to Surespan Construction Ltd. of West Vancouver for the bridge deck reinforcement project.
