The dam, built in the 1920s for the Union Steamship Company, requires major structural repairs. Greater Vancouver Regional District Parks estimates the pro- ject will cost $145,000. Temporary trail blockage and occasional machinery noise may occur weekdays. Work is expected to be completed at the end of Oc- tober in the 260-hectare park.
