AN ALERT resident helped
North Vancouver RCMP
catch two males in the midst
of a break and enter at a
North Vancouver business
early Monday morning.

The observant citizen
phoned police at 2 a.m. say-
ing he had seen what ap-
peared to be c flashlight
beam in the business across
the street in the 100 block on
East First Street.

Police arrived at the scene
catching two males red-
handed.

Items stolen were recov-
ered, including a small
amount of cash and three
hunting knives, said Cst.
Alison Irons.

Police arrested the two
and charges are pending
against an adult male in his
late teens at no fixed address
and a North Vancouver ju-
