tificial intelligence said they

next generation of com-

As an example of success
along these lines, they
pointed to a computer used
by the University of Califor-
nia at Los Agnesles which
simulates paranoia. Isn't that
wonderful?

Second, British scientists
have created an eight-cell
human embryo from an egg
that was not fertilized by
sperm. That is, no male
chromosomes were used.
This means that we — well,
not “we”, but somebody —
will be able to produce
human beings without males
being involved at all.

Oh, great. Talk about hit-
ting below the belt.

I guess the next step is to
