The report then goes on to outhne — restrictions the existing on construction at the bottom, on, and at the top of a slope. Restrictions on setback distance, fill replacement, depth of excavation and drainage for all types of types terrain are all in the report. West Vancouver Engineer Don Walker says that munmicipahty has no general pohcy on developments on slopes but looks at each case individually. But Walker says an amendment to the municipality's soul deposittauon bylaw will be introduced “in the near future” to control filling and cutting on slopes.
