Theft charge A 20-YEAR-olé North Vancouver s2an faces a charge of theft over $1,600 following 2 bid to steal some rings from a West Vancouver jewelry store. The attempted theft. occurred at approximately 8 p.m. on Monday at Creative Goldsmiths, located in Park Royal North. According to a West Vancouver Police spokesman, 4 man walked into the store and asked a clerk to give him a closer look at several rings in a display case. -When the clerk produced the rings, the man seized them and ran from the store. The suspect was apprehended by witnesses in the mall. { . Suspect was arrested. The rings, worth about $2,800, were recovered and the ' William Michael Holdam faces the theft charge.
