Crew from the North Shore Lifeboat Society’s Deep Cove base were called out by the Rescue Coordination Centre in Victoria. The — family’s. 28-foot Bayliner Sierra powerboat had broken down and was drifting. The family placed a cellphone call to rescue services before their battery went dead.
