Victoria Shamrocks beat the Indians 11-8 in overtime Monday night at Lonsdale Arena to win the best-of-seven Western Lacrosse Association semi-final 4 games to 2. The Senior A Indians were just 36 seconds away from forcing a seventh and deciding game when Victoria’s Bruce Alexander beat Indians’ goalie Dwight Mactche to tie the game 7-7. The Indians had taken a 7- 6 lead with 5:29 to play on a spectacular diving goal by Share Wannamaker.
