By Jeremy Hainsworth Contributing Writer The North Shore residents receiving degrees that day were Gene Ladinski-Stephenson, Katherine Moore, Carol Dukowski, Sandra Azizi and Donna Chan. Ladinski-Stephenson, Moore and Dukowski took advantage of a credit transfer agreement be- tween the Open University and the Emily Carr College of Art and Design to earn their bachelor of fine art degrees. Ladinski-Stephenson already had a master’s degree in psychology when she decided to pursue her interest in photography at the Emily Carr.
