The present policy is for three years or 30,000 kilometres, whichever comes first, and covers most major aspects of the vehicle’s chassis, trim and powertrain. The warranty is effective July 1 and is also applicable to ali 1989 Sidekicks already soid this year in Canada. . The previous coverage was one year/20,000 kilometres on body and trim with a two-year/49,000 kilometre warranty on the power- train.
