Suzuki extends
Sidekick warranty

AS PART of the company’s effort
to improve customer satisfaction,
Suzuki Canada Inc. has apted to
increase the warranty coverage on
the popular four-wheel drive
Sidekick series.

The present policy is for three
years or 30,000 kilometres,
whichever comes first, and covers
most major aspects of the vehicle’s
chassis, trim and powertrain.

The warranty is effective July 1
and is also applicable to ali 1989
Sidekicks already soid this year in
Canada. .

The previous coverage was one
year/20,000 kilometres on body
and trim with a two-year/49,000
kilometre warranty on the power-
train. In addition, there was a
three-year protection policy on
body perforation.

Sidekick is available in either
hardtop or convertible body style
and can be ordered as a functional
low-cost vehicle or as a plush pas-
senger car complete with power
windows, power steering, air con-
ditioning and cruise control. Sales
of this vehicle continue strong with
the company retailing almost 560
each month since its introduction
fast fall.
