NORTH VANCOUVER District Fire Department firefighters were called in to quell a fire which gut- ted a house at 4090 St. Pauls Avenue Wednesday afternoon. Firefighters manning two fire engines and a snorkle truck were called to the scene just before 3 p.m. after a neighbor noticed smoke. A fire department spokesperson ssid the house had been under renovation. The two- storey house was unoc- cupted at the time of the fire, Investigators are at- tempting to determine the canse of the fire, which is believed ‘to have origi- nated on the main ficor of the home.
