Man guilty of robbery attempt

A 21-YEAR-OLD Vancouver man
was sentenced Tuesday in North
Vancouver provincial court to two
months in jail after he pleaded
guilty to a attempted robbery.
Alfred John Beaupre was origi-
nally charged with robbery in con-

nection with a Jan. 2 incident in
which another male was alleged to
have been robbed.

Appearing before Judge J.K.
Shaw, Beaupre pleaded guilty to
the lesser included offence of at-
tempted robbery.
