Pete Martin notched a pair for the winners, with Scott Mentiply scoring two for Berts. Action gets underway at 9 a.m. Thursday, January 3 on the women’s side of the draw, with the University of Victoria Junior Varsity Vikettes playing Red River College’s Rebels from Win- nipeg. In all, eight games are scheduled for the opening aay of the three day tourna- ment. The feature game on the men’s side of the draw is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. bet- ween defending tournament and B.C. College champicna, Capilano College Blues, and Assiniboine College Cougars from Brandon, last year’s Manitoba College champions.
