Summer playground
programs set in W. Van

How many ways can kids
play with a parachute? The
only way to find out is to

have hundreds of kids
smiling and laughing and
playing with one.

The West Van Summer
Fun Playground program is
operating once again this
year — only this season it's
bigger and better than ever
before! Children between
the ages of six and eleven are
invited to come and par-
ticipate in an action packed
program of new games,
sports, arts and = crafts,
special events, excursion
outings and much more.

There are a total of ten
neighborhood locations
throughout West Van-
couver, leaders at each
playground organize’ ac-
uuvities specific to the needs
of the child so programs may
vary between locations

Each playground locaton
is centred on school sites in
every area of the distnct
addition to the traditional
Sports such as
softball, floor hockey.
gymnastics and volleyball.

skuled in offering
traditional games that use
unusual matenals such as a
parachute, water filled
balloons and a water slide to
