Vancouver Opera gets new technical director NEIL McLEOD, one of Canada's best technical directors for the performing arts, has been appointed Director cf Production for the Vancoouver Optia, ef- fective September 1, 1985. M.Leod fills the position vacated by John Woods, who has gone on to assume the role of Production Man- ager for the Walnut Strect Theatre in Philadelphia. McLeod comes to the Vancouver Opera from the Stratford Shakespearean Festival where he held the position of Expansion and Technical Director.
