Mazda has found that on certain B-Series trucks equipped with cruise control, the cable could come into contact with the cruise con- trol servo pulley and not allow the throttle to return to idie when disengaging the cruise control. ° This could result in a stuck throttle, possibly causing an accident. Mazda is not aware of any incidents arising from this condition. Vehicle operation is not atfected when the cruise con- trol is not engaged. Mazda is asking owners of the affected vehicles to bring them to an authorized Mazda dealer for the inspection and, if necessary, replacement of the cruise controi cable. In the interim, Mazda is asking owners of the affected vehicle to refrain from using the cruise control system unul it has been inspected and repaired at an authorized Mazda dealership. The inspection and repairs should take less than « half day; however owners may be asked to leave their vehicles longer to accommodate deal- er service schedules.
