Man fined for mischief

A 19-year-old North Vancouver resident
received a $500 fine Monday for mischief and
possession of a break-in instrument.

Michael John Morton was apprehended in
the . Ferries overflow parking lot in the
ait norning of Aug. 18.

Police had checked the lor at 2:20 a.m. but
on returning at 4 a.m. discovered a car with
its doors open and a broken ignition lock in
the middle of the parking lot.

A screwdriver found on Morton was iden-
tified as coming from a Nissan Pathfinder that
had its windows broken,

According to Crown) counsel Dan
Mulligan 10 to 15 cars were found to have
