THE pink Cadillac is gravy.

What really keeps Monica Noe! ticking is
more about a love for the game.

The game being selling Mary Kay Cosmetics
products, not door-to-door per se, more lun-
cheon-to-luncheon or mid-afternoon coffee-to-
coffee.

While not exactly the stuff of sweatshops, it
is nevertheless work and one has to be sharp to
succeed,

This is where Noel’s strength lies.

She was recently recognized as one of Mary |

Kay Cosmetics’ top achievers and was awarded
for her efforts with a pair of 14-karat gold ear-
rings set with ten diamonds, a gold ring set with

13 full-cut diamonds as well as a gold and dia- -

mond bee pin with emerald eyes.

But her rise to the top of her field didn’
occur overnight. She has been at it for 17 years
15% of those full-time.

“It was kind of a glamorous field to be
(initially),” said Noel. “I didn’t think it wa
going to be a job.” ae

As it turned out, she had found a career tha
would many a working stiff’s mouth water. .

While hours of work in terms of scheduling
make up one positive, Noe lists the interactio:
