Stepfamilies focus of
support group meeting

STEPMOTHER: Stepfather?
You are not evil, right? But have
you ever thought any of the

mate laughed along with her and 1

new spouse, she just doesn’t scem to see
how my kids are so much better and more

there are too many difficulties with being

Highlands United Church there will be a
support group meeting, for those in step-
families who wish to discuss, with others
of their kind, what makes stepfamilies so
unique.

The purpose of this meeting is to help
people understand what makes a succesful
stepfamily.

Susan Gamache, MLA. RCC, will also
be present at this meeting. Gamache is 2
member of the facuity of the Stepfamily

ociation of America Training Institute.

She works with stepfamily support
groups and offers educational presenta-
tions on stepfamilies. She is an educator,
writer and family cherapist in a private
