neighbours and are committed to
working towards a better community for
all of us.

If you are a resident of the District of North Vancouver and would like to become
more involved in your community through volunteering to serve on an Advisory

Committee, here’s how:

® pick up an application form from the District Hall, District recCentres and Libraries .
* complete the form and send it in by November 16

Appointments to Advisory Committees are made by Council in December.

The Squamish Estuary Coordinating Committee (SECC) is And, while trolling, don't forget to

been guiding land and water use in the estuary since 1984.
The SECC has sought public and aboriginal peoples’ involve-
ment ir: amending the plan, a process which began in the fall
of 1991.

The Committee has now reviewed at lengti all of the
issues raised, made further modifications to the proposed
plan and has prepared an information package for distribution.

The Committee will be hosting an information Meeting on
November 4, 1992 at The Garibaldi Highlander Hote!, Banquet
Room between 3:30 and 9:00 p.m. to explain revisions to the
proposed plan.

Documents describing the proposed plan will be available
at the Squamisti Municipal Library and the Squamish Municipal
Halt, 37955 2nd Avenue. To receive this package by mail,
